About E Double A
Ethel’s Africa Advisory (E Double A) Pty LTD is a Human Rights Advisory Firm founded in 2026 by renowned human rights lawyer Angela Mudukuti with a clear purpose: to help close the justice gap in Africa.
The name reflects two enduring sources of inspiration: Ethel, Angela’s mother, and the African continent, a place of extraordinary strength, resilience and possibility.
Our mission is simple
Advance justice and strengthen the people and institutions working to deliver it.

Our approach
Victim and survivor-led, grounded in African realities and built on collaboration and solidarity.
As the Shona proverb minwe mishanu hainga shaye simba says, five fingers together do not lack strength. Justice is a collective act.
That is the spirit of E Double A—solidarity, shared expertise and collective power in the pursuit of justice.

Perhaps you need guidance on how to work in Africa? Or maybe you need in-house training on intersectionality or how to be gender-responsive? How to strategically prosecute and investigate or even legislative drafting support. E Double A is here for you. This includes providing guest lectures for students, presenting at seminars and workshop facilitation.
Our work is grounded in the principle that justice must be accessible to all. We place particular emphasis on women’s rights and gender equality, recognising that inequality shapes both the experience of violations and access to justice.
